Getting from Waterloo Station to IET Savoy Place is very straightforward — it’s basically across the river and a short walk or one quick Tube stop.

Tube:

• From Waterloo Station, take the Northern Line (northbound) or Bakerloo Line (northbound) one stop to Embankment
• Exit at Embankment Station
• Walk about 2–3 minutes to Savoy Place:
  • Turn left onto Victoria Embankment
  • Walk along the river toward Waterloo Bridge
  • IET Savoy Place is on the corner by the Thames

Walking: 

• Walk out of Waterloo Station toward Waterloo Bridge
• Cross the bridge (great views of the Thames)
• Go down the steps on the north side
• Cross the road and walk along Victoria Embankment
• Savoy Place is just along the river on your left

Here are some of the positive changes we have made to the event: 

• Our chosen venue IET Savoy Place is easy to reach by public transport and we encourage all of our guests to use low emissions means of transport when travelling to our events.

• Our menu has been chosen with the aim of reducing our food miles by working with the venue to choose a locally sourced and seasonal menu.

• We will be using the TRACE by isla platform to reduce our carbon footprint by measuring the emissions from the event.
