Martin Tyley

Martin is a Manchester based cyber security leader with over 25 years of handson experience. He works with cyber and business leaders to make sense of the real risk of cyber events, so they can focus investment where it genuinely makes a difference. At KPMG, Martin leads the global cyber risk quantification practice and the Cyber Risk Insights platform, using data driven models and practical experience to explain likelihood and impact in clear, decision‚Äëready language. He is proud to support clients across multiple industries and is particularly passionate about changing the way we talk about cyber security, from a story of constant crisis to one of informed, resilient progress. Away from the office Martin's been a school governor for ten years with a particular focus on safeguarding. He has also coached junior cricket and rugby for ten years meaning weekends are spent in various fields across the north west of England in the rain.
