John Noble, CBE
Non-executive director , NHS Digital Board
John Noble CBE is a non-executive director on the NHS Digital Board. He joined the Board in July 2018 and leads for information and cyber security. He holds several other advisory and non-executive director roles and is a senior cyber advisor at McKinsey.
Formerly, John was the Director of Incident Management at the UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), where he led on nearly 800 major cyber incidents, including WannaCry.
During his 40 years of Government service, John specialised in operational delivery and strategic business change. For his work in creating effective partnerships in the run up to the London Olympics, he was made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in 2012.
