An IT engineer by background, now specialising in cybersecurity compliance and AI governance. 5+ years of total industry experience, including over 2 years dedicated to cybersecurity. Proven expertise in developing and implementing compliance frameworks, including ISO 42001, ISO 27001, ISO 27018, and SOC 2, complemented by skills in Cloud Security, Third-Party Risk Management, and Power BI. Dedicated to advancing AI governance, cybersecurity compliance and diversity in this field. I contribute my expertise as a Peace Corps Volunteer with the Cyber Peace Institute, serve as a reviewer/contributor to the CSA AI Safety Working Group, and act as a mentor for organisations such as BlackGirlsHack, Darktrace, and the Royal Holloway ISG group. Played a leading role in Darktrace becoming the first UK organisation and the first cybersecurity company globally to achieve ISO/IEC 42001 certification. Co-author of the widely discussed MCP Security: Risks, Controls, and Governance paper. Finalist for multiple prestigious awards including the SheShapesAI Global award, Most Inspiring Women in Cybersecurity and Computing Excellence Rising Security Star.
